Description

A superb Georgian revival mahogany wardrobe from the workshops of Waring and Gillows of Lancaster (stamped on lock and mahogany). The 2 sheraton style doors having large figured mahogany ovals outlined with subtle boxwood and ebony stringing with fiddle back mahogany cross banding. The base having 2 drawers with original brass swan neck handles and working locks and keys. The whole with splayed bracket feet and shaped apron, The stepped and moulded cornice with cross banding and beaded edge. The interior retaining the brass hanging rail. Condition - very good. Transports in 3 pieces.

Height - 81'' / 206cm. Max width - 45.75'' / 116cm. Max depth - 20'' / 51cm.
