Description

An amusing Austrian cold painted miniature bronze group in the manner of Franz Bergman, depicting three black boys riding on the back of a crocodile, circa 1900, painted naturalistically and in original condition.

The paintwork is in original condition and overall better than it appears in the photographs. The crocodile is good with some losses to the underside and extremities of the toes, the boys have some paint losses to the sides of their arms and legs and shorts.
