Very handsome and impressive super king size classic Victorian brass and iron bed. Sympathetically restore in traditional black with aged brass. Made by Shoolbred with makers plate on cross rail.. Very nice brass detail of feet, knees, husks, collars and knobs as well as caps on decorative castings in foot board. decorative castings also present in middle of bars in foot board which adds to this beds individuality.Original porcelain castors. Side rails have been lengthened, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. A truly individual bed. Suitable for super king size mattress 180cm (6Ft) x 200 cm (6'6").
