Description

A superb quality carved walnut Victorian Period antique sofa/chaise newly re-upholstered in Sanderson's chartreuse silk. Having a shaped back finely carved with harebells, finials and acanthus leaves. With a central deep buttoned back support flanked by twin finely turned and reeded columns. The open arms with padded arm rests, above the generous deep buttoned sprung seat. Supported on finely carved and reeded front supports and shaped walnut back supports with brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 68" wide x 40" high x 29" deep (seat height 17")

Condition: This sofa is in stunning condition, newly re-upholstered in Sandersons Chartreuse silk.

A superb quality carved walnut Victorian Period antique sofa/chaise newly re-upholstered in Sanderson's chartreuse silk.
