Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The central door is mirrored and the two outer doors have beautifully figured panels with arched moulding. The right hand interior has a hanging rail and hooks whilst the left hand interior has four mahogany lined sliding linen trays, this sits above two over two graduating mahogany lined drawers with brass swan neck handles. This quality piece stands on a plain plinth and is full of the beautiful charm and character that you would expect to find from a true antique. The mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
