Superb George IV Scroll End Sofa

Description

A superb high quality Mahogany George IV Scroll End Sofa. This strong large country house sofa retaining the horse hair cushion and inners, upholstered in Mulberry Wool Tartan, having 2 matching original horse hair bolsters. The sofa having elaborate carved scrolled ends with carved acanthus decoration, with a reeded seat rail and the whole raised on reeded legs of which retain the original brass acanthus cup castors. Wonderful proportions to this fine sofa, in excellent condition throughout.
