Beautiful early French Directoire style Lit Bateau shaped king size bed with original naturally aged paint that we have carefully cleaned and waxed to preserve. Exquisite detail in carved decoration and claw feet. Please see close up images for these details. Original makers/retailers name plate still in situ. This bed is priced as is or we can reupholster in fabric supplied by you. (5 meters) for an additional £450. These styles and shapes of beds are getting very hard to find so we are delighted to have one to offer. We have extended the side rails so that a standard modern 150cm x 200cm mattress will fit internally. The overall width of the bed is 160cm so a mattress this width could be used.
