Excellent casting, patina and attention to detail to both the rider and his mount .
Portrayed in a relaxed yet attentive pose , twisted in the saddle in watchful mode.
The bronze statue stands freely upon the attractive carved alabaster plinth base with flower and ribbon decoration and fluted detail . The stand possibly associated but proves a highly successful combination .
Good consistent patina and dark colour .
The stone base with minor chips,scratches and wear commensurate with age and use.
