Quality Large Antique Chesterfield Sofa.

Despite the worn top upholstery layer, this mid 19th century antique sofa is superb quality. It has beautiful rib moulded solid walnut front legs with a moulded frieze all the way around the base of the sofa. Traditionally upholstered with all the original innards in very good order, requires a new top fabric. Dating from around 1840-50, this large scale antique Chesterfield sofa is a handsome piece of antique seating, it is even complete with the original large, quality castors.
