Bedsteads has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The frame has been extended to support a kingsize 5' x 6'6" modern mattress size (150cm x 200 cm). It has been shot blasted before being hand finished in Little Greene paint company mid lead paint and aged to give tone and originality. Antiqued brass lacquered to preserve the lovely colour that goes so well with the paintwork.
