A mid 19th century highly decorative Continental bronzed copper satyr mask of large proportions and of exceptional quality.

The satyr is part human, part goat, usually having small horns and pointed ears and he is often depicted as an attendant to Bacchus.

This piece would be a super statement piece either displayed on a wall, on a piece of furniture or a stand.
