Description

Handsome Napoleon II Empire style king size mahogany and fruit wood bed with finely cast gilt bronze ormolu anthemion and harp mounts with Egyptian influence gilt bronze busts and knobs. Very solid quality with very few age marks. Suitable for king size mattress 150 cm x200 cm. inside the rails or 160 cm x 200 cm on top of rails.

Max head board height 128 cm; max foot board height 89cm.; overall sizes below.

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" solid top mini box base (as used in photograph) for an additional £225. Some customers prefer these for a superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. We also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
