Dating from ca. 1830 this beautifully figured Regency Mahogany Antique Wardrobe has a moulded cornice above two full length striking flamed mahogany doors with moulded edges and unusual carved motifs (often associated with Gillows pieces) The interior has a brass hanging rail, along with hooks and the wardrobe stands elegantly on turned bun feet. The wardrobe has the beautiful charm and character you expect to see in a genuine antique and mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
