A Regency Simulated Rosewood Scroll End Sofa

19th century
Description

In lovely original condition and beautifully simulated with applied brass embellishments. The sofa stands on turned legs with brass castors, the front rail and scroll arms are reeded and the back is elegantly shaped. The sofa also retains its horse hair upholstery which just requires recovering. 1930mm wide, 685mm deep, 865mm high and 380mm seat height. Circa 1830.
