Rare and attractive....better than most....lovely detailed carving and great quality upholstery.
Very solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints. Good comfortable sprung seat, with no nasty lumps and bumps.

The sofa has been very professionally upholstered in a quality upholstery fabric. Just look at the pattern matching, piping and shape!

...nothing bad). We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. The veneer (on the bottom rail (runs around the sides and back, just above the legs) has a little unevenness/ripple, but this isn't very noticeable). Just a few extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.
As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
