Victorian Sofa Chaise Longue Daybed Ottoman

19th century
Description

Victorian sofa, chaise longue or daybed with a lift up sprung seat creating a huge ottoman.

Dates from C1895.

Rare and unusual piece. No woodworm.

Strong, with no loose joints. Stands on brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect)

This piece is upholstered in an old dusty pink velour, which is clean with no major marks and only light wear. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery.

Overall maximum dimensions:

175cm long, 64cm deep, 77cm high (45cm high seat when sat on).

Internally 146cm long, 55cm wide, 29cm deep.
