This bed fits a standard UK double size mattress (4ft 6” wide by 6ft 3” long). The tall headboard incorporates stunning burr walnut grain configurations veneers across the piece as a whole. Above, there is a pretty central floral pediment and rounded corners to the edges. The headboard is connected (via bolts) to the original detachable metal angle irons, which also support the footboard. The footboard of the bed encompasses a stunning serpentine design, again with stunning burr walnut grain configuration, terminating on a recessed curved banded plinth. The bed dismantles into four sections for easy transport and easy access into your house. The bed boasts classic art deco styling and would be at home in any traditional or contemporary setting and consumes very little space.
This bed features a mellow figured walnut colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
This bed is in excellent original condition; this is what gives the doors their lovely mellow patination and colour. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and sides but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The bed retains its original complete brackets and angle irons, all of which are clean and not rusty. The bed dismantles into four sections for easy transport and easy access into your house.
This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
