The craftsman cleverly constructed this chest, using a combination of timbers, veneers and mouldings that compliment each other perfectly - burr walnut to the drawer fronts, figured walnut to the sides, interspersed with ebonised mouldings.

All the locks, handles, escutcheons and decorative mouldings are original.
The overall quality of construction, colour and surface are excellent.
All the drawers are deep enough to be practical.
