With a moulded cornice with dental moulding above two beautifully figured flamed mahogany doors with ebony and boxwood string inlay, brass clash mould and key with working lock. The interior comprises of a later brass hanging rail. The lower section has two over two graduating cock beaded drawers which again are beautifully figured with brass swan neck handles and boxwood string inlay. This striking antique stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
