A large and decorative pair of Victorian cast iron hearth ornaments in the form on horses. The horses face each other with one leg raised and are standing on scrollwork above stepped plinths. The pair are both in excellent condition, they have been painted and this may be original. It is very unusual to get a pair of these ornaments of this large size. C.1880.
