The Vintage Interiors has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The armoire has a solid walnut frame with detailed carving.
The canopy has been intricately carved with leaves and flowers. The carving on the canopy overlaps the body of the armoire above the mirrored door.
Below the door the carving is continued with flowers and leaves on a scalloped base.
The door has scalloped shaping, carved detailing and a shaped, bevelled mirror.
The armoire stands on carved cabriole legs with escargot feet.
