This delightful French upholstered bed is offered in very good condition.
The bed has been newly upholstered and the original paintwork has been cleaned and given a clear wax finish.
The upholstery has been done in an oatmeal fabric and finished with brass stud work detailing.
The original paintwork is a green with gilt highlights and a darker patena. The side rails have centre carved feet, going extra stability.
On the left hand side quite a lot of the paint is missing, we could repaint this if requested but we feel the shabbiness only adds to it''s charm.
The scrollwork frame is very sturdy and the bed comes with a newly fitted set of substantial bed slats.
The bed will accommodate a 1500 mm wide x 1900 mm long mattress.
