Description

very striking mahogany bow front linen press.

the top having a flared cornice with dentil moulding and inlay detail over fabulous inlaid panelled doors which open to interior fitted with brass hanging rail and hooks .

the base fitted with two long drawers and raised on splayed bracket feet.

normal signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use (i.e. minor veneer nibbles, slight warp to very top of doors, usual scuffs / marks ) but overall this extremely handsome press is in good condition, the mahogany is nicely figured and has a very pleasing rich colour, its not really done justice by the photographs.
