The Vintage Interiors has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The armoire in the Louis XVI style has been restored to its original former glory.

The armoire has a breakfront stepped canopy with brass mouldings.
The three large bevelled mirrors are framed in mahogany frames with brass internal mouldings.
The doors open to reveal a very large hanging section to the centre and adjustable shelves to either side. The shelves can easily be removed and extra hanging fitted if required. The centre is so high that we could put a centre shelf with extra hanging below if required.

There are two turned and fluted columns to either side of the centre door which adds a real sense of importance to this already beautiful piece of French furniture.
The are two internal fitted drawers to the bottom of each side section.

The armoire stands on a base with three exposed drawers with original brass handles, below the drawers there are turned legs with brass cappings.
The armoire has a few minor defects such as slight imperfections to the mirrors, very slight repairs to the brass mouldings in a few corners.

None of these are noticeable at first glance or detract from the apearance of this amazing armoire.
The armoire dismantles for ease of transportation and delivery.
