Striking Early Victorian Black and Brass King Size

Description

Striking early Victorian black and brass king size bed. Tapered posts with Winfield brass knobs. Lovely design with brass central detail. Flowing shapes and good detail within decorative castings. Carefully cleaned and restored in hand finish black. Original porcelain castors. (can be removed)Side rails have been strengthened, lengthened and adapted to support wood slats.

Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6".

Max head height 66"

Max foot height 46"

Side rail height 17".

Overall length 86".

Price includes wood slats (*sorry not mattress)

We can supply hand made mattresses from £250- £750 dependent on comfort choice as well as mini box bases as an alternative to the wood slats.Bed photographed on Prices and specifications available on request or in mattress section of our own web site.
