Spectacular Quality Victorian Figured Walnut Antique Wardrobe

With Art Nouveau Influences This Spectacular Quality Victorian Figured Walnut Antique Wardrobe retains the original makers stamp M.D Miller & Sons Nottingham and dates from around 1900. This impressive piece has a moulded cornice with dental moulding above the original shaped bevelled mirrored door with the original handle and key with working lock. The interior has a hanging rail and hooks. The outer sections have beautifully figured burr walnut with spectacular carvings showing the work of a true craftsman from the Victorian era. The lower section has two deep moulded drawers with beautifully figured fronts and original handles. This spectacular antique stands on a shaped apron with moulded shaped feet and splits into three sections for easy removal. The walnut has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
