The Antique Furniture Company has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The centre doors conceal five solid oak-lined slides and are flanked by full length doors with further slides and drawers behind. There are working sliding bolts and locks to all the doors and each has a separate key. This beautiful piece of English cabinetmaking has well figured flame mahogany veneers and a rich warm colour.

In very good condition, on the right door there is one motif missing from the top and a Bramah lock has been added, for the photographs we have positioned all the slides to the right side although there are runners for two slides on the left, hanging rails could easily be added if preferred. The left side has scrapes and the polish is dry and there is a long but narrow chip out the lower back edge on both sides. The missing handle inside will be replaced.

Please feel free to ask for more photos.
