With The Original Makers Label, Galloway And Sykes Aberdeen, This Inlaid Mahogany Antique Victorian Triple Wardrobe circa 1900 is truly Magnificent and only the finest quality mahogany timbers have been used.
The two central inlaid doors have a striking diamond shaped quarter veneered rosewood inlay which is truly spectacular. The interior comprises of the original hanging hooks, just below are a set of graduating bow fronted mahogany lined drawers with the original brass swan neck handles and satin wood cross banded edges. The outer doors maintain the original bevelled mirrors, original handles and key with working locks. The interiors comprise of a pull out hanging rail, hooks and shoe rack. This spectacular wardrobe is a perfect example of the highest level of craftsmanship and the overall quality is exquisite. It stands on a moulded plinth and maintains the original backboards and also splits into four sections to make transportation and positioning easier. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
