Charming Georgian Country Oak Antique Linen Press

This Charming Country Oak Antique Linen Press is of lovely small proportions and dates from around 1770 in the Georgian period. It has a moulded cornice above two beautifully figured doors with key with working lock. The interior comprises of three oak lined sliding linen trays. The lower section has two oak lined cock beaded drawers with beautifully turned ebonized handles. This wonderful antique stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The Oak has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
