An interesting wall bracket of a young cupid holding a lattice work gilded basket.

The whole piece measures 17 ins high and 10 ins wide at the widest point.

The back of the basket clearly shows Jean Baptiste Carpeaux PARIS 1875.

The back of the figure is sculptured out to provide a strong hanging point .
