Fine Regency Mahogany Antique Linen Press

This Fine Regency Mahogany Antique Linen Press circa, 1820 has a moulded cornice with dental moulding above two beautifully figured doors with moulded edges and key with working lock. The interior has two adjustable shelves which have been later added to make a wonderful storage solution. The lower section has a moulded edge above two over two graduating oak lined cock beaded drawers with decorative oval brass handles. This splendid linen press stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
