The settle, which is constructed of walnut, features a comfortable high back that is connected to elegant walnut down swept arms and a firm sprung seat base. The settle couch has been freshly upholstered in a top quality hard wearing silk damask upholstery and is finished with brass studded braiding; this would have reflected the original style of upholstery used. To the underside of the seats, the settle couch sits on the original carved bobbin turned legs, which are connected, by bobbin turned stretchers for added strength. The undersides of the chair feature traditional hessian upholstery. The settle couch features a firm sprung seat but at the same time, it is extremely comfortable.
The settle couch features a deep rich deep walnut colour. As its boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

The settle couch is in excellent condition having just been professionally reupholstered. Therefore, the upholstery is new and in excellent condition with no damage, rips, marks or fading to the upholstery. The frames and arms of the armchairs are sold and in excellent condition with no splits or lose movements. The settle couch sits firm on the ground and does not wobble. As its boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This item is ready to use.
