Very Pretty Rare Pair of No End Portuguese Small Singles Can Be Joined as King Size

Description

Very pretty rare pair of 2'6" x 6'6" small singles that can be joined to make a king size bed, beautifully restored in hand painted blue grey finish with aged brass. Lovely scroll detail and central vase and flower cast plaques.original brass knobs; with alternative for when in use joined.

Structurally simple and very solid. Side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats.

This design and style gives the great flexibility for a pair of beds or a king size double. Ideal for use in guest rooms and holiday houses.

The side rails are the extra length to be suitable for king size(6'6"/200cms) If required we can shorten for standard single length (6'3"/190 cms )

Max head board height 48"

Max side rail rail and foot height 15.5"

As an alternative to wood slats we can supply 2" mini box bases for superior mattress support priced at £150 each. We can also supply hand made mattresses at this size that have zips for joining. Specifications and prices available on request.
