The Vintage Interiors has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The sofa has the most intricate carved floral designs, lovely bowed sides and swept shapes.
The arms have scroll tops and the legs have carved tops and escargot feet.
The fabric is an embossed silk and finished with stud work detailing.
We can recover the sofa at your request if required,please contact for amount of fabric required.
The floral carving is very fine and intricate, however there is a small flower missing off the back centre( please see photo )this has been reflected in the asking price along with the few water marks on the fabric, (again please see photo), that may come out with some cleaning.
The sofa is a lovely quality and the flaws are only consummate with its age.
