Solid Chestnut French Armoire

19th century
Description

This solid chestnut French armoire is offered in very good condition.

This beautiful armoire has an arch top with a carved cartouche and turned finials.

The two shaped doors retain their original bevelled mirrors and either side of the doors there are turned and fluted columns.

The armoire has wonderful chestnut grain detailing.

There is a drawer to the base with a reeded front.

The armoire opens to a fitted base and four adjustable shelves.

The shelves can be taken out if hanging pace is preferred and a rail will be fitted.

The armoire has signs of historic woodworm to the base panels, that has been previously treated and filled. We have also treated the armoire to be certain that nothing will return.

We also have the matching double bed for sale.

The overall dimensions are

2450mm tall

1360mm wide

580mm deep

515mm internal depth
