Having two short over three long graduating, cock-beaded drawers, each having the original and very charming brass Lion handles. The handles also have initials on the pull-ring marked H J, obviously the very first owner of this very charming chest of drawers.

The drawers are each lined with the original paper lining. All locks and escutcheons are present.
The chest stands on elegant splayed bracket feet, with ebony and boxwood stringing inlay above.
In very good antique condition, with general expected signs of age and use. Lovely rich colour, bees-waxed and polished.

Very solid sturdy and strong.
