This French walnut Louis XV bed complete with slatted base is offered in very good condition.
The bed comprises of a swept walnut headboard with a wonderful shell, the panel has a quartered veneer design.
The footboard also has a solid walnut swept framework, with ornately shaped panels the centre panel is a heart shape and has carving to the top and below. The inside of the footboard had been upholstered with a
oatmeal fabric and finished with antique brass stud work detailing.
The bed stands on solid escargot feet that are intricately carved.
The solid walnut side rails also have carved shell designs.
The bed comes with a newly fitted set of substantial bed slats.
The bed will accommodate a standard double mattress 1400 x 1900.
