Description

handsome georgian mahogany linen press with flared cornice over inlaid panelled door top which open to interior converted for more practical use with brass hanging rail and one pull out sliding tray, the base has two short over two long drawers with inlay detail and brass handles, standing on (later) bun feet.

marks and scuffs commensurate with age and use and some old repairs but overall this lovely press is still a most attractive yet practical piece of furniture with wonderfully figured wood and a pleasing colour in good sound condition.
