Description

Gorgeous king size Portuguese forged bed with original aged brass knobs. Sympathetically restored in hand paint Farrow and Ball hague blue. Lovely lower height bed with lovely curls and foliate central plaque. Original brass knobs show attractive signs of ageing, please see close up images. Side rails have been lengthened and strengthened to support wood slats.

Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6".

Max head height 46"

Max foot height 39"

Side rails height 13.5"

Overall width 62"

Overall length 83"

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

We can supply a 2" deep platform top base for £225 if preferred, for superior mattress support and to raise get in to bed height. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Specifications and price list available on request
