19th Century Antique Banquette Sofa by Gillows.

This is a superb quality, English antique upholstered sofa / seat by Gillows of Lancaster around 1880.

Well turned oak legs to the front, stamped by the maker on a back leg.

In great, solid and comfortable condition, currently upholstered in a 1940's velvet fabric which is in very good, clean condition, just a very faint iron mark to the seat.

Perfect to use at the end of a bed or in a clothes store in the waiting/ dressing room.

Height: 87cm (34.25")

Width: 174cm (68.5")

Depth: 82cm (32.28")

Additional Information: The seat is 42cm high.
