Characterful Solid Mahogany Antique Georgian Wardrobe.

This Solid Mahogany Antique Georgian Wardrobe is full of the charm and character that you can expect from a piece which is over 200 years old. This charming wardrobe has a moulded cornice with decorative Grecian mouldings above two cupboard doors with the original brass key escutcheon and key with working lock, the interior has a brass hanging rail. The lower section has a deep beautifully figured drawer with brass swan neck handle and a decorative brass key escutcheon, it stands on shaped bracket feet. This delightful wardrobe benefits from being later adapted to achieve this splendid size and look. The Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
