Lovely burr walnut figuring to each drawer.

With elegant engraved brass handles and matching escutcheons, with original steel locks.
Drawers are oak lined and of dove-tail construction.
The top of the chest is particularly nice, having walnut quarter panel veneering, framed with feather-banding and cross-banded.

Standing on bracket feet.
The walnut is a wonderful rich warm colour, having developed a glowing patina over the centuries, very tactile.
The condition overall is excellent antique condition, with general expected signs of use consistent with age.
