Description

This carved oak French bed painted in a farrow and ball is offered in very good condition.

The kingsize bed has been sanded,primed, given a few coats of farrow and ball New White and then slightly shabbied and clear waxed.

The bed comprises of a carved oak headboard with oak panelling in a solid oak framework. The centre panel has carved detailing and there is a moulded cornice .

The footboard has carving either side of the shaped panels, there is carving to the side edges and below the panelling.

The bed stands on intricate carved escargot legs.

The bed bolts together with shaped side rails and comes with a newly fitted set of substantial bed slats.

The bed accommodates a standard kingsize mattress 2000mm x 1500mm.
