Quality Figured Mahogany Antique Regency Linen Press

This Quality Figured Mahogany Antique Linen Press dates from the Regency period circa, 1830. It has a moulded cornice above two cupboard doors with striking mirrored flamed mahogany arched panels with key with working lock. The interior comprises of four oak lined sliding linen trays. The lower section on this quality piece has a rectangular moulded top above two over two oak lined cock beaded drawers with fine turned handles. It stands on fine bun feet and splits into three sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
