Prior and Willis has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Very heavy and strong, with no loose joints.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Period dissimilar castors with some wear (as you would expect). This type of fabric contains the odd slub or fleck of cotton of a different colour picked up in the loom during manufacture. This is normal for all but the most expensive fabrics and not very noticeable except under close examination in bright lighting conditions. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.

Overall maximum dimensions: 182cm wide, 65cm deep, 84cm high (40cm high seat without cushion).
