Large William IV Wardrobe & Press C.1830.

Description

Very large and imposing early 19th.c. mahogany wardrobe and press c.1830. Standing 94" wide at the cornice, of breakfront design with hanging space either side of a central section featuring five sliding shelves (easily removed to allow extra hanging) above a two over two chest of drawers. Fabulous Cuban mahogany veneers of gorgeous colour with particularly good matching flame door panels with a crossbanded surround. Brass moulding strip between the centre doors, ebony stringing and inlay, ash drawer linings and original turned drawer knobs and feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
