Delightful Early 18thc Small Oak & Walnut Chest of Drawers.

Description

A most lovely early 18th century chest of drawers.

c1700.

This very sweet oak chest has a moulded edge top, over an arrangement of walnut fronted drawers, having two short over three long graduating drawers, having half-round applied drawer dividers.

With replaced, but still early 18thc engraved brass handles, and ornate brass escutcheons.

With panelled sides, standing on bracket feet.

The chest is a wonderful colour,rich and warm, having developed a glowing warm patina, very tactile.

The condition overall is excellent antique condition, with general expected signs of use consistent with age, very minor. Original finish to the wood.

The dimensions are.

Height-77.5cm.

Width-83cm.

Depth-53cm.
