Elegant Georgian Small Mahogany Chest of Drawers

18th century
Description

A very pretty and elegant George III mahogany chest-of-drawers, of small proportions and excellent quality.

c1770.

Lovely rich, warm colour, and characterful patina to the figured mahogany.

The moulded edged top is over a mahogany slide, having four graduating cock-beaded drawers under, having the original brass swan-neck handles, and ornate escutcheons.

Oak lined drawers, showing high quality. All original steel locks and escutcheons are present.

Standing on bracket feet.

A wonderful timeless piece, having all the simple elegance that Georgian furniture has to offer.

In excellent original condition, having general expected signs of use consistent with age.

The dimensions are.

Height-84cm.

Width-87cm.

Depth-46cm.
