This stunning french kingsize bed is offered in very good condition.The bed has been newly upholstered in a rich gold striped fabric which complements the gilt framework and french grey painted border.The beds framework is carved with intricate floral designs and scrollwork.We have cleaned the frame but decided not to repaint any chipped paint as we feel it would detract from the charm a beauty of this bed.The bed has a quality rarely found and stands very well and sturdy.The side rails have ornate carvings and upholstered sides, they also have extra legs that you would normally only get on a bed of such quality.The photo of the side legs look to be loose but they are not, we just did not want to repaint any of the bed as we feel that you would loose the authenticity and integrity of this superb bed.The upholstery has been finished with brass stud work detailing.Please note this bed is larger than a standard kingsize it is classed as a European kingsize ...
