The Vintage Interiors has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The bed has been recently upholstered in a French blue fabric and finished with a studded edging.
The bed has walnut side rails with carved shell designs to the centre of each rail.
The bed bolts together with the side rails and is supplied with a set of new fitted substantial bed slats.
The best photo that depicts the true colour of the fabric is the headboard in the main photo.
Due to bed being recently upholstered the mattress will be a tight fit but will become less taught as the foam compresses in a short period.
